This oil is produced from the flowers by a steam distilling method on the Lavender plant originating in Bulgaria. It will produce a rich, but noticeably fruity floral scent similar to that of the natural flower. Lavender has been used since ancient times. Romans used this flower in their baths and the name Lavender originated from the Latin word lavare, which translates into ‘to wash’. The growing conditions of Lavender tremendously affect the scent that comes from the flower.
